Exercise Classes - 

The Cortez Recreation Center offers a variety of exercise classes for all ages and abilities. Classes are included with Annual, SilverSneakers, Renew Active or Silver&Fit memberships. Without membership classes are available for a $5 fee. 

There are limited participant slots available for classes - reservations are highly recommended but drop ins are welcome on a first come first served basis if the class has an opening available.

Cycling Classes

Exercise on a specialized stationary bike. Instructors lead you through a musical, high intensity, intervals, strength, and aerobic endurance workout.

Kenpo Karate

All skill levels and ages starting at 5 years old are welcome to train in self defense learning Kenpo Karate.

Tai Chi

Class has elements of “Tai Ji Quan, Moving for Better Balance,” Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Chinese Traditional Medicine. Focus is on BREATH, VISUALIZATION, MEDITION, MOVEMENT THERAPY, and BALANCE….moving and strengthening all parts of the body; sitting, standing and stepping.
