What is the Cortez Safety Action Plan?
The Cortez Comprehensive Safety Action Plan will provide a roadmap to achieve zero traffic fatalities and serious injuries in Cortez for all modes of transportation, including walking, biking, and driving.
The project is led by the City of Cortez and Cortez Police Department and funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Safe Streets for All program.

The plan will gather input from the community on safety issues, analyze crashes, and identify future safety improvement projects.
