The Cortez Safe Streets Safety Action Plan (Safe Streets for All Planning Grant) was adopted by the Cortez City Council on May 27, 2025. (available using the city council livestream link: https://www.cortezco.gov/497/City-Council-Live-Stream)
You've done it Cortez - you've provided over 400 markers on the interactive map and over 700 surveys completed. We thank you for helping us to create the Safety Action Plan!

The City of Cortez adopted Resolution No. 7 committing to a Vision Zero pledge to end traffic fatalities and serious injuries in Cortez on the roadways by 2045.
