The Planning and Zoning Commission’s responsibilities include hearing, recommending and/or determining matters relating to zoning, planning or subdivision control, recommending boundaries of the various zoning districts, and exercising the duties and powers of the Land Use code and applicable laws of the State of Colorado.

Membership Requirements
The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of nine members: five members of whom shall be registered electors of the city and shall be appointed by the city council, consisting of the city manager, the zoning administrator, the city engineer, and the mayor of the City Council.
