PUBLIC NOTICE FROM THE CORTEZ MUNICIPAL AIRPORT CONCERNING DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (“DBE”) GOALS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Cortez, as owner of the Cortez Municipal Airport, hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 4.8% for FAA-funded contracts/agreements. The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2024 through 2026 (10/1/2023 - 9/30/2026). A Zoom meeting will be hosted on September 23, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of consulting with stakeholders to obtain information relevant to the goal-setting process. The Zoom link is:

A copy of the Airport’s DBE goal and rationale are available for inspection for 30 days from the date of this notice during normal business hours at City Hall, which is located at 123 Roger Smith Avenue
Cortez, CO 81321.
The Airport also hereby solicits public comment from any group or individual wishing to comment on the above DBE overall goal or rationale. Public comment will be accepted by the Airport for 30 days from the date of this notice and should be submitted in writing to:
