Incredible numbers of comments and suggestions from the community contributed to the Cortez Safe Streets Safety Action Plan success!
The Cortez Police Department, in partnership with Bohannan-Huston Inc., is excited to present the Safety Action Plan Resolution to the Cortez City Council on May 27th at 7:30 pm.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to the public for their invaluable contributions to the plan's success. Your more than 1100 comments and suggestions, survey contributions, along with your attendance at the focus groups and public open house, have been instrumental in shaping this important safety planning initiative.
The Safety Action Plan's ambitious goal is to prevent deaths and serious injuries in the Cortez community, with a vision of zero fatalities by the year 2045. We believe that with your help, we can make our community a safer place for everyone.
