4th of July Celebration at Parque de Vida!
Cortez, Colorado Friday, July 4th | Starting at 12:00 PM
BONUS Day of Fun! (Tickets required)
Saturday, July 5th | Starting at 12:00 PM A fundraising event for local nonprofit Fundamental Needs

Join us on July 4th for a full day of live music, food, games, a car show, a beer garden, and a fireworks show, all at Parque de Vida! Free and family-friendly, this celebration is all about community, fun, and patriotism.

 Live Music Brought to you by Fundamental Needs: July 4th (South Field, 2:30-8:00 PM)

Featuring:

Matt Rupnow, Zander Rodriguez, and more local talent.

Plenty of space to hang out for the day, and it’s the perfect spot to view the fireworks!

Beer Garden

Enjoy cold drinks in the designated beer garden right by the stage while you listen to great music! Sponsored by: Patron Night Club & Tito's Handmade Vodka

Food Trucks

Grab tasty bites from favorites like Snyder’s Snowy Snacks, Mona Makes, DJ’s Smashed Lemonade, and more!

Car Show

Mildred Rd near Centennial Park

Registration: 2:00 PM | Judging: 7:00 PM

Check out classic and custom vehicles and celebrate local craftsmanship.

Fireworks Show: July 4th @ 9:00 PM (approx.)

Presented by the Cortez Fire Protection District (https://www.facebook.com/CortezFire), preceded by a moving rendition of the National Anthem.

Bonus Day: July 5th Concert (Ticketed Event) This event will be a fundraising event hosted by Fundamental Needs!

The fun continues Saturday, July 5th with more live music in the park!

Camino Cowboys

The 14ers

Howard County (our closing band!)

Come back for another night of great music, drinks, food, and community vibes. (There will be NO fireworks on July 5th)

Road Closures & Parking Info:

Mildred Road(Road 26) will be closed between Montezuma Avenue & Empire Street

Use Park Street or Roger Smith Avenue for access. No parking on Empire.

Parking available at the North Rec Center, Rotary Field, and BMX lot on Empire.

Note: South Rec Center and Centennial Park lots closed for emergency use.

4th of July Road Closure 2025

Emergency services will be on-site. An info & first aid tent will be available.
