Congratulations to Nicholas Arbogast, 1st place winner of the Cortez 140th Anniversary Logo Design Competition! The public is invited to the City Council Meeting on July 8th to celebrate the participants and winners.
In 2026, the City of Cortez will observe the anniversary of three important events – the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the 150th anniversary of Colorado’s entrance into the Union as an official State, and the 140th anniversary of the platting of Cortez. To mark these special occasions, the City of Cortez hosted a design competition for a commemorative logo!
Logo design winners have been announced and will be recognized at the Cortez City Council Meeting on July 8th at 7:30pm. (123 Roger Smith Avenue, Cortez)
