The City of Cortez is currently accepting applications for several open positions on city boards & commissions. Serving on a board is a meaningful way to make a difference in your community. Adults and youth are encouraged to apply!
Current Vacancies:
Board of Adjustment and Appeals - three adult vacancies
Public Arts Advisory Board - one student and two adult vacancies
Library Advisory Board - one student and three adult vacancies
Parks, Recreation & Forestry Board - two student and one adult vacancy
Golf Advisory Board - one student and one adult vacancy
How to Apply:
To be considered for any of the above vacancies, please complete and submit the Boards and Commissions Application by October 31, 2025. Interviews and appointments are conducted by the City Council.
