[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

Text about the MLK Jr Closure of the Cortez City offices on Jan. 19, 2026

The Cortez City offices will be closed Monday, January 19, 2026 in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Cortez City Hall Business Hours

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm

Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm

The Cortez Police Department, Animal Shelter, Public Library, and Public Works department offices will also be closed for this holiday. Emergency services remain available and can be reached using 911 or the non-emergency line 970-565-8441.
