Mike was a dedicated Marine, son, brother, father, law enforcement officer, and friend to many, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on November 29, 2023, during a traffic stop.
The public is invited to attend. Blue lights will be given out until supplies run out.
His loss has deeply affected the Montezuma County community, and we hope this event will help us all come together to remember him and begin to heal.
Let's walk together and keep his memory alive.

We invite those who may not be able to walk the route to park along Park Street and Mildred Road/Road 26 - stop by the police department to grab a blue light first - to light the way for those who walk. There will be picnic tables at the Memorial Wall at the police department too for those who may want to light up the wall.
