Street striping will be done the week of May 15-19, 2023.
Branson Road Works out of Durango will be in Cortez the week of May 15-19, 2023, to stripe the City streets for centerlines, shoulder markings, and bike lanes. Residents are urged to NOT park on the street and to give the striping machines adequate room to do their work.
If you see a stripe on the street within the City (except the State highways), it is planned to be repainted. Street Striping Map and Bike Lane Striping Map are attached. Contact the Public Works Department at the City Service Center at 970.565.7320 with any questions.
