The event will be held at the Cortez Area Chamber of Commerce, 20 W. Main St., on November 25th and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is a special educational event to support our youth and foster future business owners in our community. City sales tax requirements will be waived for the youth for this event only. A presentation to the youth on how to meet those requirements and start a small business will be made prior to the start of the showcase.
There is no cost for the booth or tables. Youth are welcome to bring goods, crafts, or display services they provide. The youth at the showcase event shall be 18 years of age or younger and will represent their personal business. Family businesses or businesses primarily controlled by a parent, legal guardian, or adult representative will not be permitted at the showcase. An adult 18 years or older will need to remain with the youth throughout the duration of the showcase.
