We believe all City of Cortez information is important, so we share it through every avenue we can. We continue to hear from residents who feel they aren’t getting the important updates they need. We post on the City website, share information on Facebook, send emails and texts, share public meetings and events, post flyers in our city buildings, work with local groups, and partner with print media like The Journal and local radio stations.
Even with all of these efforts, we still hear from many people who say they never saw information about an event, a street closure, a job opportunity, or a community program. We want to understand how you personally receive your information so we can continue improving.
