To assist small businesses and nonprofits in the necessary removable and cleanup of graffiti, and to create a positive and aesthetic community, the City of Cortez may provide reimbursement for 50% of expenses related to the cleanup and removal of graffiti, up to $500.

Please email receipts/paid invoices for eligible expenses, a current W9 for your business, and a photo of the cleaned area to hwest@cortezco.gov with the subject line: Graffiti Cleanup Grant.

You may also bring copies to Cortez City Hall, 123 Roger Smith Avenue.
Please cleanup graffiti within 10 days of the incident. Removing graffiti quickly helps prevent crime and deter further vandalism. You may submit this application after graffiti has been removed. Please note, a police report must be on file to qualify for the Cortez Graffiti Cleanup Grant.
