The Cortez Regular Municipal Election ballots will be mailed out today. The Election is a mail-out ballot election with no in-person polls.
Five city council seats are available with eleven valid candidates. Do not select more than five candidates. There are also four ballot questions pertaining to the City of Cortez charter.

The Ballot Question Breakdown events are designed to help residents understand the ballot questions for the April 7, 2026 election. Each event offers time to learn, ask questions, and take part in an important civic conversation. These events are open to all Cortez residents who want to stay informed and engaged in the election process.
