A safe, supportive space for kids ages 5–10 to learn, play, and explore after school and on Fridays.

Adventure Club is the Cortez Recreation Center’s after‑school and Friday full‑day program, designed to support working families and enrich children’s afternoons with fun, learning, and connection.

👧 Who Can Join

• Ages 5–10 years old

• Maximum of 20 children

• Staff-to-child ratio of 1:10

• Registration required

🕒 Program Hours

• After school: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

• Fridays & school break days: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

🚌 School Pickup

We offer transportation from:

• Lighthouse

• Kemper

• Mesa

• Battlerock

• Dolores

📚 A Typical Day

• After school: Homework help, snack, and group activities

• Fridays: Drop‑off, crafts and free play, snack, rec center rotations, lunch, and planned outings like swimming, park visits, bowling, and movies
