Third Thursdays are a community event held annually on the third Thursday of June, July, August, and September. These free events are held in Montezuma Park at the corner of Market & Montezuma in Cortez, Colorado and include vendors, live music, dancing, food, beverages, giveaways, and community fun.

Third Thursdays Vendors

Being a Third Thursdays retail or organization vendor is one way for businesses to showcase their products and expertise to the community. Vendors may sign up for individual Third Thursdays events, or all four. There is a vendor fee for each Third Thursdays event, with an approximate 20% discount for agreeing to all four events. Payment is required for vendor confirmation and space assignment and is non-refundable. 

Third Thursdays events will start at 5 PM and end at 8 PM. Vendor setup begins at 3:30 PM. Spaces will be numbered and assigned, and no early setup will be allowed. Confirmed vendors agree to arrive on time for setup and be ready to start at 5 PM and will supply their own table (maximum 8’).

We are not accepting Food Truck applications at this time.

All vendors selling a physical product are required to have a current City of Cortez Sales Tax License. Vendors will not be accepted until a Sales Tax License has been acquired. For more information and to sign up for a Sales Tax License, visit: https://www.cortezco.gov/131/Taxes.
